Looking for the perfect music for your event? Feel good music for your heart, head, and soul? Consider “The Cathy Reitz Trio.”

“The Cathy Reitz Trio” was founded by musical duo Cathy and Jeff Reitz. Both come from a deep-rooted musical background. For over fifty years Cathy has been a music educator and performer in Wisconsin . Jeff has been playing instruments since the beginning of time. He currently owns the Chippewa Valley Band Instrument Repair Shop, cvbi.repair@gmail.com.

 

The Cathy Reitz Trio, features Cathy on vocals and Melodica and 2 of her favorite musicians, Jeff Reitz on woodwinds and Emily Watkins on guitar. Occasionally, Nick Poss, piano,  will join as the third in the trio  They have been performing together for over 7 years and have more than 100 years of musical experience that they would like to share with you.

The Trio’s entertaining song list starts pre Roaring 20’s and continues to the 2020’s. It includes the Great American Songbook, Big Band and Swing favorites of the 30’s, 40’s and 50’s, along with classics from the decades before and after.

They can be Family Friendly or a bit on the Bawdy side, depending on the audience. When they know ahead, the Trio will add one of your favorites to make the event complete. Just let them know the song you want to hear. 

The trio provides hassle-free entertainment. Everything necessary for the show - sound system, music stands, chairs, instruments, and lighting (if needed) - is provided by the band. All you need to provide is the performing space, a power source, and an eager audience. The performers are prompt and professional in every way.
